How it works

Add the quoted rent and mandatory nonrefundable fees. Add the refundable deposit only when comparing cash required. Use the same dates and currency for both quotes.

How to compare the total price of two monthly rentals

Get final quotes for the same dates and number of guests. Use the discounted amount shown for your stay, then add only fees missing from each quote. Check cleaning, service fees, taxes, and whether utilities are included.

Putting the result to work

A $900 rental with an $80 cleaning fee costs $980. With a $300 refundable deposit, it requires $1,280 in cash. A $1,100 all-in rental costs more but can require less cash.

Do I enter the nightly price or the booking total?

Enter the price for the entire stay. A nightly rate can miss long-stay discounts and fees that only appear at checkout.
